An unplanned boiler outage stops production, threatens heat and puts pressure on everyone in the plant. D.F. Boiler answers emergency calls around the clock, every day of the year.
You reach a person who knows the equipment. Not a call queue. We assess the situation, mobilize the right crew and get you a realistic plan for return to service.
Emergency line answered, every day of the year
Serving industrial boiler operators since
Fabrication, so repairs do not wait on a supplier
Code work performed to certified standards
If your boiler is leaking, tripping, losing pressure or refusing to fire, call. We would rather talk you through a false alarm than have you wait out a real one.
Water carryover, visible leakage or pressure loss pointing to a failed tube or weld.
Cracked, spalled or collapsed refractory exposing the shell or casing to flame and heat.
Repeated lockouts, flame failure, ignition problems or a boiler that will not hold a firing rate.
Low-water cutouts, erratic level control or feedwater equipment that has stopped keeping up.
Leaking safety valves, failed isolation valves or damaged connecting piping under pressure.
A trip you cannot diagnose, with production or building heat waiting on the answer.
Describe what the boiler is doing. We ask the questions that narrow the cause quickly.
Where possible we troubleshoot by phone with your operator before anyone is dispatched.
The right technicians are dispatched with the tools, parts and documentation your site requires.
We repair on site or fabricate in our shop, then confirm the unit is safe to return to service.
Emergency work slows down when parts have to be sourced and fabrication has to be subcontracted. We keep fabrication in-house, which means replacement sections and repairs can start the same day the problem is diagnosed.
Our field crews and shop work from the same building, so what gets measured on your site can be built and back on the truck without waiting on a third party.
None of this is required to call! If you are in the middle of an emergency, pick up the phone first. But if you have it on hand, it shortens the diagnosis considerably.
Safety first: if you suspect a fuel leak, an over-pressure condition or anything that endangers people, evacuate the area and follow your site emergency procedure before calling us.
Most of the failures we respond to give warning first… a tube that has been thinning, a refractory crack that has been growing, a control that has been drifting. Scheduled inspection catches those while the boiler is down on your terms, not on its own.
A service agreement puts your equipment on a known inspection cycle and puts your site on file with us before something goes wrong.
